Looking for friendly, well-run pilates classes in Bushey? You’re in the right place. I’ve been teaching mat pilates in Bushey Heath for over a decade, welcoming complete beginners, returning movers and seasoned regulars into the same mixed-ability sessions.
My Bushey classes run at St Andrews Methodist Church, a bright, spacious and warm hall right on the High Road — easy to find, with free parking at the rear.

Free parking is available at the rear of the church. The venue is a short walk from Bushey Heath village centre, and easily reachable from Bushey, Stanmore, Edgware, Watford, Oxhey and Carpenders Park. Pricing
Classes are booked in blocks of four consecutive weekly sessions for £50. That works out at £12.50 per class — excellent value for a qualified, insured instructor in a dedicated venue. Drop-ins are occasionally available when there’s space; please get in touch.
What to expect in a Bushey pilates class
Every session begins with breathing and alignment work, then moves through a carefully sequenced set of mat exercises focused on core stability, posture, mobility and strength. I teach in the classical tradition — precise, controlled movement — but adapt every exercise to the person in front of me.
You’ll need:
- Comfortable clothes you can move in
- Grip socks (mandatory — regular socks are too slippery)
- A bottle of water
I provide mats and all small equipment (balls, bands, blocks).
New to pilates? Start here
If this is your first class, please arrive 5 minutes early so I can have a quick chat about any injuries, concerns or goals. Pilates is genuinely for every body — if you can get down to the floor and back up again, you can do my class. If you can’t, we’ll find a way that works for you.
